Hello! Welcome to my website. I am happy that you have such an interest, longing or curiosity for the type of information and services that you may find here. You actually complete the circuit or connection that I intended to manifest by creating this website. So here we are, hopefully on the next threshold of your journey into the multidimensional world of being human: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

For most of us, managing ourselves simultaniously on all these levels of being is a handful. Unfortunately, when we were born, no one gave us an owner's manual on how to be fully and completely human so that we could navigate our way through the many challenging and confusing experiences and choices that we have as we grow. And it wasn't like our parents and caregivers were very aware either. For the most part our upbringing was well intended but clueless (bless their hearts). It is toward that end that I have created this site: to let you know that here is a resource for you in your journey towards greater peace of mind, clarity, trust, and personal empowerment.

Now, you may be asking yourself what kind of resource is this guy talking about? Good question. Here is my answer. Like you, I came into the world uninformed and as I grew I realized that there were many things in this world that did not make sense to me: war, poverty, sickness, death, hatred, greed, cruelty (even among children). I just didn't get it. As I grew older, I numbed out sufficiently to function on a level that gained me acceptance from my family and peers though it was but a fraction of who I really was or am. I went to college, got drafted three days after graduation, and enlisted in the Air Force to have some sense of control over my life. When I got out four years later I realized that I was no longer even functional for the most part and had lost an even greater part of who I was. So I began to work on myself. I soon realized there was a spiritual world out/in side of me and that life offered much more than my Christian upbringing had led me to believe. I began this personal work in 1972, my last year in the military service. Since then I have continued to explore what it means to be human and aware.

That path took me to a guru for three years, then the EST training, then Macrobiotics, the New England School of Acupuncture, ReEvaluation Counseling(12 years), the Barbara Brennan School of Healing(4 year program), A Socieity of Souls School of Integrated Kabbalistic Healing(4 year program), and now I am one year away from completing the three year training of the Center for Intentional Living, a profoundly enrichening program for deepening one's psychological counseling skills. As I write this, I realize that there is no one place to learn practical useful ways of nurturing and developing one's human nature and potential. Maybe someday there will be. Or at least, maybe we will see that this is the only truly meaningful subject for primary and secondary education and that all schools will be staffed with folks who have expertise and wisdom in these areas and are teaching and living from their hearts not their intellects.

So what does all this experience look like on a person? Especially on me. Well, you can see my picture, so that is what it looks like on the outside. On the inside, I think that you would see a man who has learned to live and honor his own inner spirit and live a lifestyle personally and professionally that nourishes that spirit. I have slowly over time created a life that includes enough rest, physical exercise, gardening, good food, photography, tai chi, chi kung, meditation, and feng shui. Professionally, I have a private practice as a facilitator of my client's personal growth. My goal with each of my clients is to support them until they are consciously creating their lives on their own terms, having recovered the lost/shattered parts of themselves from past traumas and integrated those parts into a continually evolving whole functioning person. Once a year in the early summer, I lead a ten day vision quest on my farm in western North Carolina. And I also teach a three year training for people who either really want to deeply integrate their spiritual self into their daily consciousness or want to prepare to be facilitators to help others. The Circle of the Heart School of Healing is the vehicle for this endeavor. It becomes a community for like hearted/spirited folks to work together for personal healing and professional preparation to help others.

So welcome once again to my website. I hope that you find nourishment here.
